The AIDS Walk begins at 10:00 a.m.
Since thousands of people will be participating, we suggest you arrive at 8:00 a.m.

Walk Route Information
Florida AIDS Walk is a 10 Kilometer walk through the heart of downtown, Ft. Lauderdale. Most people will take about two hours to walk the 10 kilometers. However, for your convenience, there will be a halfway turnaround point and relief shuttles for those who need additional assistance.
Refreshments and restroom facilities will be provided at checkpoints along the route.
Directions to Huizenga Plaza, Ft. Lauderdale
Huizenga Plaza is a 1.8 acre park in the heart of downtown. It is on the southeast corner of Las Olas and Andrews Avenue and across from Riverfront.
- From the South take I-95 North and exit at Broward Blvd. Make a right onto Broward Blvd. and proceed east to Andrews Avenue. Make a right and the park is two blocks down on your left.
- From the North take I-95 South to Broward Blvd. Make a left onto Broward Blvd. and proceed east to Andrews Avenue. Make a right and the park is two blocks down on your left.
